Wedding! :o)

Sorry, I haven't updated... My owner Paula has been down for the county... so she couldn't help me update at all. But enough about that (she is feeling better), last weekend, I got to go with Paula and Jon for one of Paula's cousin's weddings... I know how cool -- a WEDDING.

But anyways it was an awesome wedding... except for that stupid tie!.
Jon decided that since he had to wear a tie, so did I .. :o( ... Paula agreed for once. So I had to wear this stupid tie!
The wedding was cool, there was a lot of people and well... I didn't know ANYone! ... But there was this cool Hummer looking limo, which Paula and Jon said was really expensive.
I got to look in it. It was neat, but it looked like a van or so I can relate to the inside, it wasn't anything really special. Paula said that it would have made really cool pictures. Ooh! I almost forgot, at the wedding I got to meet Paula's Mom and Dad. Jon had told Paula to leave me in the car, but... well Paula didn't really listen because she knew I wanted to me her family very, very badly. After I got to meet Paula's parents, we got to go to the reception.

(Oh I forgot, mind you during this wedding, it was storming in Lebanon and Jon had no phone signal. When the bride came down the aisle and we had to stand up, ALL of Jon's devices went off. It was funny, but dang, it was a wedding!)
I also got to meet some of Paula's family at this wedding --Christian, Paula's Mom and Dad and a whole host of family members of Paula's family. But I also got a picture with my family, though I got a little squashed between Jon and Paula. It was a good picture!

We didn't get to stay for cake and hopefully there was going to be ice cream. But at at least we got to go shopping for a few items and enjoy, well Paula and Jon got to enjoy a great, yummy meal... Oh well next time, I'm joining in! Oh yeah, hmmm.... I probably mention, I had a little too much to drink at the wedding. I think Jon was embarrassed by me. ... At least I wasn't swinging by the light fixtures this time!

Garys Italian! YUMMY!! :)

I think my life is freakin' amazing! Jon and Paula treat me so nice. Takng me out to eat, letting me meet new people, and experience new things. I think they freakin' rock!

This past weekend, we went out to eat with a few of their friends to a place called Gary's Italian Restaurant. Oh my! It was great. There were horses to see outside on the property. I wanted to pet one, but they were a little jealous of each other of all of the attention, so Paula suggested that I just admire them and not get eaten. Jon just put me closer... Those guys.. crazy.

I got to meet Gail, a guy that works at Jon's office as well as his wife, Tammy, and Denise and Ron from Camden County. Denise is like the counter part of Jon. (I wonder if she has time to go fly a kite, more than Jon. This bares investigation!
They let me try a cigarette, even though Paula and Jon wasn't too happy about it all. Don't tell Jon and Paula but it was gross.
We had a great time! It was so cool and the food was so good. I just felt bad for Paula who kept getting this horrible headache. I hope the weekend gets better for her and me :) ... Paula also showed me this photo collage of when she and a few of her old friends from the newspaper came to Gary's Place and did a mystery theater thing, stayed overnight and everything it sounded so cool. I'm hoping
Paula brings me back sometime to stay the night here. The food is so good :)

Oh yeah, the margaritas were delicious! Jon let me h
ave his... but I don't think I had enough food to go with it. Paula took this next picture but I really can't
remember how I got there on top of the light.
I also got a picture with my buddy Jon. I love how I can fit in his pocket! :)

This next picture is a picture of me with Denise and Tammy! I am so proud of myself... getting out and meeting new people. Ahhh... the best way to meet new people over food. :o)

MOVIES!! Alice in Wonderland! :)

I am so HAPPY!! I got to go to the movies with Paula and some of her friends -- Alex, Maggie, and Loretta!! It was so freakin' great! We saw Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland with Johnny Depp in 3-D :) It was so good! I loved it. Before we started the movie, we got all sorts of yummy food and drink to enjoy while we watch the movie. Paula even allowed me to have some. I got my own soda! I even got candy!!! :) But I have to admit the popcorn was my downfall. I saw it being popped and I began to beg. (You know sometimes you just have to fall back to begging to get what you really want! And I got SOME!! :) ) It was so yummy! At one point in time, I accidently fell into a bag of popcorn! But man, was it yummy, though my nose is still very, very buttery. :o)

The movie was really good, and I got my own seat, but ... I found out that the seats at the movie theatre are not made for little orange guys like me. I barely fit on my own chair. :( ... But I survived. Paula had to bail me out on occasion and make sure I could see all of the good parts of the movie. Us short people need to have assistance every once in awhile.

The movie was a complete blast!

Ah.... Flowers!! SUNSHINE!!! :)

This past, Tuesday was so beautiful. The sun was shining, and there were flowers out. Beautiful yellow flowers! :) They were so beautiful. See this started when Helen, Paula's and my friend, told us about the flowers that were blooming at her house. I wanted to see them so bad, to see the bright, happy flowers. I couldn't wait. SO Tuesday, when Paula had to go to Springfield to get her camera, we got to stop and look at the flowers. I was a little nervous when we stopped because Paula had not told anyone that we were stopping at the house to take pictures. I don't know about you but personally I'm a little afraid of being shot for snooping around a house in broad daylight. You don't know who owns a gun in Lebanon... And there are enough crazy people in the world that I am a little nervous. Besides Paula used to hear about all this stuff --the bad stuff, the evil people, etc. So here we are climbing out of Paula's Bumble Bee and Paula starts dragging me all over the place, next to these flowers, around the back to check the backyard out, then around the rest of the house. I just clung to Paula and prayed! I don't want to die before I met my true yellow girl :) ...

Anyways, Paula let me look at all the beautiful flowers, and even smell them. They looked better than they smelled but that might have just been me.
But the yellow flowers were so beautiful and that amazing sun about put me to sleep a few times. Especially when Paula got distracted by the flowers :)

At least she got alot of pictures of me with my pretty flowers :0) .... I told Paula that we are going to have to go in search of more flowers later :) when it gets more warmer :o) I can't wait!!! :)

Sun and a Park

I love LOVE the Sun! I love summer! I so can't wait until this summer. Hopefully, Jon and Paula will take me on some road trips. Oh, maybe to a beach! I want to see a beach I have heard of them but haven't seen one yet. But back to the park, it was so nice and relaxing just soaking up the sun in the great outdoors. It was sooo nice. I about fell asleep a few times on the play equipment and a picnic table. The ground is still too wet and muddy to really enjoy the grass. Paula and I saw some runners relaxing on the grass, enjoying the sun as well. Paula said the sun was improving her mood. :) Too bad Jon couldn't have joined us and relaxed too. Oh well, hopefully he will be able to join us next time.

After Paula and I woke up from our sun nap, we decided that it was time to play on the playground equipment. :) So swings, the slide and a motorcycle was mine to play on! :) It was awesome! I loved it! .... But I have to admit I wish the equipment was better built for little orange guys. Some of the stuff like the slide was a little big for me. Paula had to help me and go down with me on the slide. Oh well sometimes that is how it goes for a little guy like me.

Paula said the next time we go to the park, we are going to bring a kite to play with :) ... Doesn't that sound exciting?
Now as Paula works hard, I stare at the icky weather and wish for the warm day that me and Paula spent together. I think we both need another day in the sun! :)

Visitin' Day :)

It was a new adventure for me Wednesday! I got to meet a friend of Paula's and Jon's who just had knee surgery --Helen. I hope she liked me! I had an absolute blast with her and Paula and Helen's friends including Wringer, her cat.
When we got to her house, I got to meet Wringer. And a few other kinda crazier people that Helen introduced me to. Nothing against monkeys, but dang they are a little weird ... if you know what I mean but I made friends. :)
I also met Cooper, Helen's grandson. Hmmm... I'm not sure what I think of kids. My poor body won't be the same but hey I have to branch out and meet new people like Paula and Jon told me. So far, I'm not so sure.
Anyways, so while Paula and I were hangin out with Wringer and Helen, Wringer told me about Helen. Here's the 411 on Helen, she had a total knee replacement surgery and now has little titanium, plastic, and cement in her leg as well as RODs! Wow! No wonder it hurts!! Wringer said she had been having to do these crazy exercises at the Hospital several times A DAY and now that she is home, she has to do these exercises by herself. Man, that must be tough! I personally don't think I could do something like that. I mean, I don't want to hurt my body. Hmmm... maybe Paula and Jon need to make a plan B for when my body starts falling apart. I don't want METAL in me! Cement and plastic maybe, but METAL! There are no cute orange girls that do body searches, so where is the joy in having to be searched for metal all the time at airports, etc.?
After me and Wringer talked for awhile, I had to ask Helen for a chance to see her knee and help with someone of her injections, etc. with that knee. Well, she let me! And she didn't even laugh at my little request. I like her! :) Paula did a good job in finding her. After seeing her knee, I decided that I needed to try out her torch machine and see how bad it was for myself! Paula warned me, but Helen let me indulge myself. Hmmm, I don't think I fit in it that well and I really don't think it will work for my knee, if you know what I mean. Well she was right, I didn't fit in it but hey, I tried! :) ....
Oh I almost forgot. Part of the reason for me and Paula going over to see Helen was to help her getting reconnected with the living by facebook, etc. Because as Paula tells me, after not being online for a long time can drive you nuts if you are used to being online alot and enjoy talking to everyone you know. Well, I really wouldn't know, because well, hmm Paula and Jon are basically my only friends. Though now I consider Wringer and Helen real friends now, I should probably meet more people. Oh well that's an adventure for another day.
Hmmm... what else? Oh yeah, I love Helen's Mom! She is completely awesome! When me and Paula stopped over to see Helen, her Mom walks in a few minutes after we were talking to see if we would care for a brownie with some ice cream! And guess what Helen said that her Mom had just baked the brownies this morning! Wow, what a treat! Paula wouldn't let me have a whole one, because well... hmm, lets just keep this between friends okay? I get a little hyper if I have too much sweet stuff, but dang, do I like it.

Me and my new buddies Me and Helen :)
