My First Road Trip

My first road trip! I love it. Today, we went on a trip into Dallas County :) It was great, though Jon scared me at several times. We went into this area called Winchester Gap, which is completely confusing. I am so glad I wasn't driving I would have got us so lost! We would be driving on a gravel road and then all of a sudden, there would be named roads that were nothing but grass, over-grown roads. Jon was using the GPS to find his way to certain road, but dang, the GPS (Harry the squrriel) kept trying to get us to turn down these crazy grass covered roads to turn around, etc. No fun at all. Then Jon explained that the Gap area a long time ago was this subdivision that didn't get alot of people buying homes in it. I could understand why! It was like in nowhere'sville.
Our adventure lead us over into Camden, Miller, and Pulaski counties. :) It was great. Over the next few blogs, I will be sharing some pictures with you all of the rest of the trip. Here are a few pictures. Right, we went over several different low water bridges that actually had water rushing over them! Then at times we were going down some hills that just went straight down. But we survived. And here I am telling you about my adventures. :)
