Visitin' Day :)

It was a new adventure for me Wednesday! I got to meet a friend of Paula's and Jon's who just had knee surgery --Helen. I hope she liked me! I had an absolute blast with her and Paula and Helen's friends including Wringer, her cat.
When we got to her house, I got to meet Wringer. And a few other kinda crazier people that Helen introduced me to. Nothing against monkeys, but dang they are a little weird ... if you know what I mean but I made friends. :)
I also met Cooper, Helen's grandson. Hmmm... I'm not sure what I think of kids. My poor body won't be the same but hey I have to branch out and meet new people like Paula and Jon told me. So far, I'm not so sure.
Anyways, so while Paula and I were hangin out with Wringer and Helen, Wringer told me about Helen. Here's the 411 on Helen, she had a total knee replacement surgery and now has little titanium, plastic, and cement in her leg as well as RODs! Wow! No wonder it hurts!! Wringer said she had been having to do these crazy exercises at the Hospital several times A DAY and now that she is home, she has to do these exercises by herself. Man, that must be tough! I personally don't think I could do something like that. I mean, I don't want to hurt my body. Hmmm... maybe Paula and Jon need to make a plan B for when my body starts falling apart. I don't want METAL in me! Cement and plastic maybe, but METAL! There are no cute orange girls that do body searches, so where is the joy in having to be searched for metal all the time at airports, etc.?
After me and Wringer talked for awhile, I had to ask Helen for a chance to see her knee and help with someone of her injections, etc. with that knee. Well, she let me! And she didn't even laugh at my little request. I like her! :) Paula did a good job in finding her. After seeing her knee, I decided that I needed to try out her torch machine and see how bad it was for myself! Paula warned me, but Helen let me indulge myself. Hmmm, I don't think I fit in it that well and I really don't think it will work for my knee, if you know what I mean. Well she was right, I didn't fit in it but hey, I tried! :) ....
Oh I almost forgot. Part of the reason for me and Paula going over to see Helen was to help her getting reconnected with the living by facebook, etc. Because as Paula tells me, after not being online for a long time can drive you nuts if you are used to being online alot and enjoy talking to everyone you know. Well, I really wouldn't know, because well, hmm Paula and Jon are basically my only friends. Though now I consider Wringer and Helen real friends now, I should probably meet more people. Oh well that's an adventure for another day.
Hmmm... what else? Oh yeah, I love Helen's Mom! She is completely awesome! When me and Paula stopped over to see Helen, her Mom walks in a few minutes after we were talking to see if we would care for a brownie with some ice cream! And guess what Helen said that her Mom had just baked the brownies this morning! Wow, what a treat! Paula wouldn't let me have a whole one, because well... hmm, lets just keep this between friends okay? I get a little hyper if I have too much sweet stuff, but dang, do I like it.

Me and my new buddies Me and Helen :)
